I saw 5 seconds of that scene with Mike and El and I was like "You know what, I'm with Hopper on this one."
they are infants and they don’t need 2 be mackin on each other like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
like logically i kno kids their age are making out and even doing [REDACTED] but like....... i’m a grown-up, watching a show aimed at other grown-ups!!!!! i don’t want to see a closeup of teenagers making out for 45 seconds! i’ve been through high school! i’ve done my time!!!!
and frankly!!!!!! i didn’t NEED to see it! we could have just seen what Hopper saw -- them kissing through a crack in the door for a split second. that, and Hopper’s reaction, would have made the point clear.
but instead the writers decided to make their underage actors make out for the titillation of their adult audience. frankly, it was insulting that they thought children sucking face would entertain me. between this and them making Lucas and Max kiss just to upset Max’s actress, i’m ready to file charges.
