*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
Your head whips up from your homework. "Who in the world...?" You curse at whomever is at the door for breaking your concentration. Unfolding your legs, you get up and head over to see who it is.
As you open the door, you were not expecting the person in front of you.
"Oh my goodness Jooheon-ah!!" You squeal. Your boyfriend gives you a big grin, making his eyes disappear and his dimples come out. "Hi baby girl."
You throw your arms around him and he does the same, wrapping his low on your waist, pulling you close to his body.
"Mmmm..." he softly groans. "I missed you.." You snuggle your head into his shoulder. "I missed you too."
You then pull away and lead him inside. "I thought you were getting back later?" You ask while sitting back down on the couch, near your discarded homework.
Jooheon gives you cheesy grin. "I mayyyy have stretched the truth a little bit." You hit him lightly on the arm. "Ow Y/N-ah! That hurttt." He teases, rubbing the spot you hit.
"Oh you're fine you big baby." You tease back, laughing at him. Jooheon furrows his brow, scrunches his nose up, and frowns jokingly. You lean forward and plant a small peck on his nose, laughing at him still. Jooheon's face smooths out into a smile at the sound of your laughter.
"Ahhh...I missed that sound while I was gone..." He sighs. You raise an eyebrow at his statement.
"What sound? Me hitting you?" You tease him still. Jooheon laughs at your lame joke. "No pabo~ Your laugh. I missed the sound of it." He pokes your cheek with his index finger.
Now you scrunch your nose up. "Aaaish Jooheon-ah that was so cheesy." You say even though the tips of your ears turn red and a light blush splashes across your cheeks.
Jooheon laughs at your reaction and grabs your face with both of his hands, squishing your cheeks together. "But you love my cheesiness jagyia." He says quietly before leaning in and kissing you on the forehead.
He releases your face and lays back on the couch, sprawling out, clearly tired from his schedule. You glance at the clock on the wall.
"Oh crap it's getting late. This homework is due soon, I need to finish it." You think to yourself, sitting up straighter. Grabbing your pencil and straightening up your papers, you try to regain the concentration you had before Jooheon showed up.
As you begin to work on finishing your homework, Jooheon notices you stopped paying attention to him. "Jagggiyaaaa~ Jagggiyaaa~" He says in his high pitched baby aegyo voice while poking your side with his foot. You swat at his foot and ignore him, trying to get your work done quickly. "Jooheon-ah I need to get this done real quick. I'll be finished soon."
But Jooheon doesn't give up. He sits up and wraps his arms around you. Then plops his head on your shoulder. "Jagiyaaaa~" He starts to shake his shoulders into you and pouts. "Cuddle me?"
You make the mistake of glancing at him. Your boyfriend was pulling his famous aegyo and it's just So. Damn. Cute. His adorable puppy dog eyes look up at you and the pout he added melts your heart, especially after not seeing him for so long. Jooheon definitely knows how to play your heart.
You put your pencil down. "Homework can wait, I guess." You say grinning while Jooheon gives you a dimpled smile as he pulls you backwards with him onto the couch.
You snuggle your head into his chest while he runs his hands through your hair, taking care to get every knot and tangle out with gentle hands. His chest rises and falls with his deep even breaths. You peek up at him with a soft smile and whisper,
"Welcome home Jooheon-ah."
