Nate was glad when Jordan agreed to meet him at the Golf Club Chelsea Piers to play some golf and catch up on each other. For some, a politician who played golf probably was just another cliché but everyone who knew Nate, also knew that there likely was no sport he wasn’t willing to try. Most of his hobbies had something to do with sports, after all. They’d played a few holes already when Nate decide, he should maybe bring up what had been on his mind ever since the whole Tripp drama calmed down. “So, I gotta admit there is another reason, other than that I wanted to hang out with my friend, why we’re here today.” He chuckled softly as he watched the golf ball fly through the air and towards the next hole. “Frankie told me that you two are getting to know each other.” There was not a sign of discomfort or anything on his face, just a smile that stretched across his features. “And I know I’m her ex and still her friend but also her boss... damn, this sounds more messed up than it actually is,” He laughed. “I wanted to let you know that I’m cool with it. Not that I’d have the right to throw a fit or anything because she’s starting to move on but I want her to be happy and I know you’re a good guy.” @jordanbarnes
