After following a long series of roads that can hardly be called paved, we found the intersection of Gull Avenue and 315th Street where an enormous pair of glasses sits atop concrete posts, memorializing the three musicians; Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P, "The Big Bopper" Richardson; who died after their plane crash landed in the field beyond on February 3rd, 1959.
