The Genie du Mal, or Lucifer, installed in 1848, an element of the pulpit of the Cathedral of Liege. The first work by Joseph Geefs, was removed because of a "Distracting appeal and unhealthy beauty" ..., It was replaced by another, made by his elder brother Guillaume Geefs (1805-1883).
