Do you know why I don't care if Hayley says Elijah before she dies? Because Hayley said it with surprise. She never thought Elijah would be there for her, she just knew Klaus was coming and she wasn't surprised when Klaus showed up because Klaus always showed up just in time to save Hayley. And Hayley looked at Klaus one last time. The moment she first met him, their fights, and all the times they spent together came to mind. And then she looked at Hope. She closed her eyes, knowing that Klaus would protect her forever, keeping her safe.

I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about Elijah crying. Okay, it's a really sad scene and Daniel is a great actor, but it's not the best thing about this episode. Klaus talking about Hayley or remembering his memories with her was the most meaningful thing in the series. As I watch these episodes again, I realize again that Klaus loves and cares about Hayley.
