That Dragon, Cancer, the game designed as a living love letter to Joel Green, who lost his four-year battle with brain cancer lst year, has been successfully funded. The original goal of US$85,000 was smashed, as the project raised a total of US$104,491 from 3,687 backers.

This game is a mother and father's poetic retelling of raising their four year old son with terminal cancer. From the art, to the music, this game is deeply evocative for me - even only in screens and context-divorced snippets of the score. A story that deserves grace, and seems to be getting it. I'm almost afraid to play it.
