UFC fighter Josh Samman. He overcame childhood drug addiction (he first OD'd at age 11) and devestating personal tragedy to become an accomplished middleweight fighter and rising celebrity, who, despite dropping out of high school, penned his own memoir.

But depression and the pressures of the spotlight caused him to relapse, and he died of an overdose in 2016 at the age of 28.
