ANYWAY, here's a one shot for sly-the-erin who gave me a very appropriate prompt. *applause* Yeah, it's cool.
"There are no classes today." The website read "All classes and activities are cancelled due to the blizzard."
Ivy leapt for joy, ran out of her dorm and down the hall to her boyfriend's dorm. She knocked on the door "Aaron?"
Aaron went to the college website and saw that there were no activities or classes scheduled. He was pumped. Finally, a day to relax and just have fun, he thought. He heard someone knocking on the door. "Aaron?" The voice asked. He instantly recognized it as his girlfriend, Ivy. He grabbed his robe and opened the door.
"Did you see? There are no classes today!" Ivy beamed.
Aaron put a hand on her shoulder "Of course I saw it. It was the first thing I checked when I woke up!" He replied in his usual mature voice even though his eyes were smiling much like a child's "Let's do something today."
"If we leave the campus, the entire musical theater population will leave with us." Ivy groaned, stating the obvious. Everyone knew Ivy was dating Aaron, they have been for a year, but all the girls wanted to hang out with him. And when we say hang out with him, we mean flirt with him.
"It can be just the two of us. None of the girls have to know." He lightly touched her nose with his finger "Let's go. I'll grab my snow gear. We can go skiing. Is that okay with you?" He smiled knowingly.
"Of course skiing is okay with me! You know how much I love it!" Ivy smiled "I'll grab my stuff too. Meet you at the union?"
"Absolutely." Aaron said looking into her eyes which mirrored the child-like excitement in his own. Ivy began to walk away but Aaron grabbed her wrist and pulled her in for a passionate kiss "Good morning, darling."
Ivy blushed incessantly at his sudden showing of affection "Well, good morning to you too, dear. See you in a bit." Aaron kissed Ivy's hand before she ran off to her dorm.

"What does the black diamond mean?" Aaron asked, shivering and completely clueless about the shapes on the map.
Ivy laughed "It means the course is difficult. We'll stick to green circles today. It's really cold...we might have to go in soon..."
Aaron frowned "But you probably want to do black diamond ones and-" He paused looking at the most difficult course on the mountain "What is that...? Two black diamonds?! How does that even exist?!"
"That..." Ivy stated "...Is 'The Final Countdown' named after the ever-popular hit by Europe. It is the most difficult course on this mountain and one of the most difficult in America. Not only is it obnoxiously steep, but the genius who made this course decided to jam pack it with moguls. The bane of my existence." Ivy dramatically looked into the distance for a few seconds, instilling laughter from Aaron, then she snapped back to normal "Still a fun course, though. I've only done it once but it was still an awesome experience."
"Wow." Was all that Aaron could muster after that speech. He paused "Let's do it."
"What." Ivy sighed "It took you an hour to go down the bunny hill. Which had no incline at all. And you fell. Twice. There's no way you will survive that one."
Aaron laughed "So you don't think I could do it?" He asked sarcastically.
"No." Ivy kissed his lips quickly "I love you but I don't want you to die, okay?" She patted his shoulder and started to go on the lift.
Aaron swiftly grabbed her mitten-clad hand and pulled her close so that their coats brushed up against each other. He gazed lovingly into her eyes "Thanks for protecting me, dear."
Ivy blushed, not from the cold "It was no problem. I just care about you and don't want-"
He cut her off with another passionate kiss much like the one from earlier that morning. The two suddenly became warm.
