An Open Letter to Joshua Burner (aka Joshscorcher, The Fiery Joker)
In regards to your Newbie Dash review.
Rainbow Dash: My name is Rainbow Dash, not Rainbow Crash.
Wonderbolts: Well, newbie, this is how we do thing around he-
RD: Tough toenails, I don’t like the name. Bullies called me that as a filly and it hurt. Call me by my name or I’m gone.
You said that Rainbow hasn’t learned how to express herself properly around her idols, but Wonderbolts Academy and Rainbow Falls disagree. Rainbow has stood out for awesome things on multiple occasions, and the Wonderbolts have actively sought her out before. Asking for ‘special treatment’ is perfectly fine, because this is Rainbow Dash we’re talking about. And this isn’t even that special of a treatment. This is asking for the common respect and decency to call her by her regular, everyday name. Any group unable to have that very basic level of respect doesn’t deserve anyone’s time, no matter how big they are.
Josh: Spike now knows what it’s like to wait on a woman.

YES. Yes you are. My mother makes it a priority to have everything ready as soon as possible so that time is never wasted on little things, and even the one girl I’m seeing likes to have her stuff together sooner rather than later. How dare you try to perpetuate this demeaning stereotype for women, even as a joke. You should know better.
