what do you listen to? :3
a lil bit of everything, but most of my music is just different soundtracks. I like having a hour-or-so chunk of music that's all audibly similar or has the same themes running through it. It helps build a better working atmosphere for me instead of just one 5 minute chunk. In the same vein, electronic/techno/trance music works too since there's a lot of variation, but it fades slowly to each part instead of just ending and going to a different song.

*scratches head* I don't think I've ever seen you be a jerk?
Laughs bless you guys. I TRY not to be a jerk but I think it's pretty inevitable - sometimes it just happens unintentionally. A curse of, you know... being human, haha.
And confrontation is super scary for a lot of people. I just wanted to make it as clear as can be that I am super okay with someone talking to me if they have a problem.

can i ask you a dog behavior question? have you ever had problems with mounting and if so how do you redirect a dog that can't stop doing it to other dogs? (especially if they are babies or very elderly)
Mounting can be a little tough! It’s hard to communicate the idea of not doing something to your dog, compared to how easy it is to tell them to DO something.
Basically, you’re just going to have to manage him over time. It’s a bit like mouthing - when the bad behaviour starts, the fun stops. When he starts getting up on another dog, you either pull him off (assuming its your dog and you’re comfortable doing that) or if his recall is good enough, you call him off.
I would watch for body language - usually I can spot another dog getting ready to get up on Sage before they actually start to do it. Sage has no tolerance for that kind of rudeness and will turn around and scream in the offensive dog’s face. Because I can see it coming, rather than let Sage get stressed out and have a bad experience, I call him over to me. If the other dog persists - I have no issue at all with body blocking.
With consistent interruptions from you, the behaviour should start to die out. Once he acts like he’s about to get up on another dog (or once he does, if you don’t catch it in time,) the fun stops. His play is interrupted, and you either remove him from the immediate fun, or walk out of the room with him if you need to. (You're not fussing, you're just changing the situation.) You can ask for a sit, have a ten second calm down (or longer if you need to) and then let him go back to playing. Again, just like mouthing, you can redirect the play by enticing him with a tug toy or whatever it is that he really likes.

i liked the first episode a lot, even though i don’t really know anything about it! and yea it was abstract but the scenery was appealing. should have known it was SHAFT — i’ll be watching for head tilts
O, good!! Yess the head tilts lol. Maybe when I visit we can do another mini Vocaloid party; the original songs are really good!
