Word: Year (12/29) In Leap Day by Wendy Mass main character, Josie Taylor, is celebrating her fourth birthday. She's sixteen years old, but as her birthday is on leap day she can only 'celebrate' on her real day once a year. Unique to this novel, not only do you see the day from Josie's eyes, but you also see it (in paired chapters) from the eyes of those around her. While I would have normally waited for February 29th for this book, 2017 isn't a leap year!
