Eastbound at Josselyn
This image was taken along the Union Pacific in central Nebraska. It shows an eastbound train between Overton and Lexington, with the grain elevator located at a spot that was once known as Josselyn.
This triple track section of the Union Pacific runs between Gibbon to O’Fallons, Nebraska, a distance of about 125 miles. A decade ago it was one of the busiest railroads in the world, but with a drop in coal traffic, perhaps not any longer.
