I saw the biggest shitstorm caused from the changes to Mika and Cammy like, the amount of tears over it was just so surreal. The angriest people even went after the bearded Ryu alt as if it's the same thing and as if Ryu hasn't had a shirtless alt before. I've come to expect this kind of behavior but it's still pretty surreal, what these people are saying about it

I don't like the Steven and Pearl POP figure, but the Amethyst and Garnet ones look pretty good. Maybe it's because those two don't have noses. The noses look really awkward on Steven and Pearl
Honestly, Garnet looks fine on paper (probably because they didn’t give her the POP treatment of soulless void eyes). But even when a prototype for a POP looks good, it all falls apart once you get them out of the box because the paintjobs are so atrocious. I feel like the only ones that end up looking decent on the final product are the ones that A) aren’t human and B) don’t have much paintwork for them to fuck up. Slimer comes to mind.

i’m too lazy to go digging for the interview, but yeah, that guy was fucking nuts - the dude turned dante into his own self-insert, constantly tried to get the design team to stick saggy old-lady boobs onto monsters, was passionate and vocal about his hatred of the series he was rebooting, tried to argue that DmC was a serious work of art that would make video games be taken seriously, the works
