Well, Saphira is ready to go! But as with every season that I have had overseas, it is time for a bit of reflection before I grab my next flight. . . I just completed my 4th professional season overseas, while competing in Prague, Czech Republic. It may be my old age now, but it feels as if every season goes by a little faster than the last. . . Thank you to #Joudrs for having me for a second season, it was an honor to represent your team on the mound and coach both youth boys and girls in the art of pitching. The season may not have finished in the first place spot as we wanted, but this team is special and has so much more room to grow. . . Thank you to my teammates for the continuous effort and fight through the season. It was a pleasure competing with you. . . As we look forward, the time for rest is over (it was well accepted and needed for this arm). I am excited to continue with my 5th professional season in New Zealand, playing for Howick in Auckland. There will be more adjustments, moving, and finding my place there, but it is a challenge I am mentally and physically prepared to take on. Please continue to watch my progress through the move. . . As always, thank you to the people who support me, both physically and through social media. I have been nothing but encouraged to pursue my aspirations and continue to play since I left Bradley University. Please continue to support me with love and positivity. . . So here’s to the next adventure: may it continue to shape me into the person I am destined to me. . . Al and Saphira out! 🐲 (at Heathrow Terminal 5)
