I was wondering why exactly you prefer Martha over Donna, because a lot of what you stated you loved about Martha also applies to Donna, in my opinion.
Oh, I love Donna as well. Part of the reason she isn't my favorite is her intent to stay with the Doctor forever, and another part is the fact that her big save-the-day moment was a team effort between her and the other Doctors. Martha left the Doctor of her own free will because it was what was best for her, and her save-the-day moment came completely from her.
