1. Hardcover journal or softcover?
Hmm, this is a tad tricky to answer. I think I can reliably say softcover, but only because the majority of journals I use are the ones I make, and I make them with deer leather because they tend to stretch to accommodate the spine the best.
3. Wide ruled, college ruled, graphed, or blank pages?
BLANK. I am a SCRIBBLY WRITER. I do find lines helpful, but if I’m truthfully drawing down ideas or concepts, it’s much easier for me to brainstorm or write in whatever format I need to. Sometimes lined paper doesn’t accommodate the need for random doodles or drawings, or the scribble mess of restructuring poems.
14. What do you write in your journals?
Like...what content? Hmm, my journals are predominantly used to figure out new writing skills and structure. Either playing with a new idea or theme, or jotting down poetic ideas or doodles. Sometimes if I’m in a place that feels particularly special, I’ll draw it. Often though I’m just structuring out ideas and stuff. Lemme take some pics! Everything is for my writing!
