it's all fun and games to not care about what anyone says or thinks of you until you realize that this also applies to complimenting, comforting or reassuring you. it's not that i don't believe that you feel that way, it's that it feels almost impossible that i could also believe you. i just can't bridge the gap between us, and someone trying to cheer me up/make me calm down/feel better only ever feels like platitudes, patronizing, and humoring me. it feels pathetic to even try.
Today, I
Took a shower by myself! Usually, I need Goats to shower with me just to make sure I can get in and out of the tub safely, but today I got in and out like it was no big deal!
Tackled the laundry monster. I haven't been able to sit up for a while, so I never got around to putting my clean clothes away. It got so bad, a lot of clothes spilled onto the floor and need to be rewashed :/ But! I folded everything in the basket that can be folded, and what's left is dresses and button ups that go in the closet
Finished Platform Decay. Ngl, after System Collapse, I was afraid to read it. SC was tough for me to get through, but luckily, PD has strong Exit Strategy vibes, and that's one of my top 3 Murderbot books (the other being All Systems Red and Fugitive Telemetry). I'm glad I was finally forced to read it, and I wish I had done so earlier
Got a good grade in Therapy which is normal to want and possible to achieve
Received normally haunted dice. I asked them how haunted they were on a scale of 1 to 6, and got an average of 3 and 4. So, you know. Haunted, but not excessively so.
Went to the local arcade and played a Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles game and Banagrams! There was a clown and they were cute! I got a sticker
