I wrote my first script!!! Of the pilot film of my docuseries.

Also started watching Fresh Off the Boat with my parents last night and tonight we finished season 2! So much laughs. So much cringe over the Chinese haha. And yeah I definitely see how the show is very exaggerated in a lot of regards now. Season 6 starts Jan 4?! How will we catch up lol!

yesterday put HOV stickers on me Volt!

getting pretty good at socializing on set! i think. mostly because it’s all familiar people. especially getting along with georgia and claire! woot!

recorded a video of me battling floyd in the crew! jamie said MRM is welcome to the fairemily.

dalton from crafty was saying he’s doing a project with CS Luis just when Kathleen was there haha.

Just now I realized that I want to make films surrounding the topic of environmental issues, among the rest of the stories and culture that I want to introduce the world to. Starting a new note in Evernote to solidify my film style and jotting down names of people who’d potentially help with this subject such as courtney and erika and liz. Getting so excited.

Recently started curating this large list of ecofriendly everyday products and emailed it to a lot of people and posted it earlier today. Just got a whole bunch of stuff in mail too like from Public Goods and Recover. I was so excited that the surface cleaner smelled so good i cleaned random things yesterday.

Orange is starting season 7. So we sent the writers a penis cake. Made a fun video of Diana ordering that cake and made everyone’s life.Erik actually noticed that my edits are good and complimented me.

Today was kinda crazy.

9am got 10 coffees in personal cups from starbucks as usual.

10am the room requested Jaffa for lunch instead of Forage and started this whole thing with Madeline and her “boyfriend” Pete who works at Jaffa. 

11:30am we rolled to Jaffa/Sweet Greens together in my fancy electric car and danced to funky songs at every red light. Messed up Jon’s chicken matzo ball soup as tomato soup.

Afternoon. Worked on my dance showcase video. A lot. Got the news that Georgia will be casted as Amanda!! Her perfume smelled so nice. It still lingered inmy car this morning.

6:30pm went to Target on the way home.

9:30pm finished doing laundry and started heading to Open House.

On the drive, dunno why but started crying. I think it’s subconsciously affected by the Crazy Ex Girlfriend episodes I watched on confronting my own issues, which happened to be loneliness. How I have many acquaintances but not really a lot of friends who I feel truly connected to. I still think not having a lot of similar age asian friends is a biggie...imagined crying and pouring my heart out to liz and carly while drunk. oh yeah, i think this spurred out of reading that liz and carly will be attending some festival in new york, and also that amelia got rated by some fancy reviewer? and i thought how i really don’t know much about that world and really pop culture in general since i got here 10 years ago. facing the fact that i really, really haven’t had a true friend since i got here, 10 years ago. the smiles really were just a habit i got into when i didn’t know what to say but wanted to respond politely. 

cried my way to open house. trained power at the beginning (i guess today i was also very disappointed by my dance skills when searching for footage of me). there were a lot of students/beginners cuz of classes. gradually opened up more as they played more funky songs and actually socialized a bit. met mindy’s friend gesel, and the one very cute and kylie-like, shy but dope dancer (waacking, house) gwen. that made me happy.

yeah, it’s always great to let loose at open house. bboys are so uptight.

recently still looking for houses. last weekend went back to colorado to organize the last of my things. oh yeah and bed bugs is a thing.

Sat, 3.24.18

8:42am woke up by a text message from Isaias. He’s here. I forgot to set my alarm last night. so good thing he’s coming this morning. After breakfast, we get a Lyft. The driver jokes that hopefully we’re not going downtown cuz of the protest, annnnnd that’s exactly where we’re going.

9:30am met up with Liz and Carly and everyone. Jesse Peretz also showed up. Listened to Latif rant about his new radiolab episode (which I just listened to today, sunday). They marched slowly and grouped up because they have tiny children. I ran all of the place chasing the pictures. 

12pm everyone left. I stayed to get some more footie then found a small food place and ate outside, observing this inner city culture where passing people would say hi to the food place workers.

1:15pm got home and immediately started editing the footage.

3:35pm according to my email stamp, I got it done around 2:45 and uploaded it to YouTube to send to liz and carly hoping for some good text to overlay the video. honestly spent the rest of the day stressing out on hearing back from them

7pm wasted time until dinner. well, won 3 comp games consecutively, almost climbed up to gold. messaged athina about open house anniversary. we don’t know where it is lol. she said she’ll come over before us heading over together, so i spent a good amount of time cleaning my bathroom, wiping the stuff that’s been on my toilet forever and release a huge amount of stink cuz of it, and realizing that i should buy febreze or some sort of air freshener

~10pm got the instruction from athina from molly on arriving at this one location, then follow the 4 garage sale signs, and tell the security guards the passcode “patrick’s house” to get in lol. was a dope night. made friends from just sitting there drinking my Bob Marley stew and next to the random house cat. Randomly called out a bboy and went like 10 rounds, which exhausted the rest of my energy.

This weekend I promised myself I wouldn’t play Overwatch. Been playing too much recently and not being productive. With GODsProdigy too, and his friend Swiftness, who aren’t the most collected. Oh, had good chats with cloudderp recently. She sounds very cute.

Speaking of cute, kinda fell in love with this Julia girl that the Planet Money host decided to bring on the show for Valentines. Ugh. This is NPR’s evil scheme of getting us to join their team because you can’t find any info on merely interns except to be there.

Spent a good amount of the day (until 3pm) actually working. The new American Princess accounting team is very....uncommunicative. Had to press on them on many things, especially p-card, to get things done. Also typed up a lot more to add to the GLOW Writers PA Bible for Yasmin.

Lube’d my Penny! Now it’s so smooth and love the smooth sounds!!!

Today was such a great day I have to stop procrastinating a write an entry.

Actually last night’s sleep wasn’t that good. I woke up at 4am and couldn’t fall asleep, prolly cuz of the ramen I ate with Isaias very late after our failed attempt at trying to watch Black Panther at the Vista Theatre when it’s sold out.

Anyway. woke up at 10 something, did some audiojungle searches on some good music to accompany the reedit of MKPTOM. Found some good ones. Ate some more attempted vegan lunch, watched Lovesick S2E2 and went to JUICE. 

Had a good chat with Donald from LIT, socialized with some bboys including the dood I kept seeing even at open house, named bboy outsider. Saw a very cheery, Cindy-esque girl who could be the main lead of the short film i’m writing, except it seems like she isn’t that advanced in skill lol, and has an accent. I should’ve talked with her more.

Came back home and realized Michael left without submitting our timecards for the past two weeks, emailed Cindy about that and drove to Debbie Reynolds.

Chatted with Anthony beforehand, a little awkward but now he notices me in class now lol. Tiffany Bong was there today! And she remembered me/my face. It was a very advanced choreo today, pretty proud that i got it down.

Chatted with Jahazier afterwards and asked about open sessions. Found out some more and even that Randi and Charlie teach at DR. Had a great chat with him and found out the dood at front door’s name is Joe. 

On my 40min ride home, I had the inspiration to make a silly but representative of my style skit. Planned it bigger and bigger and tomorrow first thing I’m gonna order some Staples custom prints. 

Got home and changed off my completely soaked shirt and went out to Chinese To Go for food. Had a great chat in Cantonese! Ate half the food and left to the theatre/Vons near the theatre for reusable coffee cups.

Blank Panther was amazing.
