I want to apologise for being so distant on here recently and also say sorry to those people waiting on replies from me! I’m rehearsing for a play at the moment and it’s taking up almost all of my time and sanity but it’ll all be over soon. Then, I’ll wallow in the delicious mud that is fandom, mostly:
Yuletide 2017 (OMG I actually need to WRITE something),
The JSAMN Fanart Exchange (I’m taking part again *screams*),
Preparing for The Crown S2 (because Heffers!!!!!!!!), and
Actually communicating with people on my dashboard! (Sorry again!)
The hugely talented @darinster has started selling prints and I simply couldn’t resist grabbing a copy of her beautiful painting of Henry Lascelles in Plucked Eye and Heart. Seriously, the print is stunning. The colours are rich, the paper is perfect and well packaged - I’d definitely recommend buying prints from Darina. Go and check out her art!
What really surprised me though, was the extra drawing she included as a gift for being her first ever print buyer! I just had to show it to you guys (Darina gave me permission to upload a pic) because it’s seriously beautiful (and a perfect likeness of John Heffernan like wow) and I am overjoyed. Thank you again Darina, I’ll cherish them both forever and can’t wait to get them framed and up on the wall of my new place <3

After LOTS of hunting, @cakesandsnouts and I just paid a holding fee for a flat in Bermondsey! We move in in March!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!

The photo is this one I took of Playland Amusement Arcade’s carpet in Swanage (which is just about my favourite arcade carpet EVER) and I’m so amazed by how it came out I just want to shout about omg it I’m sorry!
It was announced yesterday that Heffers will be in a one-off show tomorrow(!) at Hampstead Theatre. It’s a stage reading of Four Weddings and a Funeral (yeah, I know... WHAT?) and I managed to get a seat (back row though, boo.)
While this is all well and good... it means I’m actually going to have to watch Four Weddings and a Funeral now (as I’m guessing having prior knowledge of the plot might help.) I’ve managed to avoid it until now, as it’s never really appealed to me, but who knows, perhaps I’ll love it! Heffers is playing Matthew, whoever that is.
An extra cool thing is that Myanna Buring and Thandie Newton are also reading and I’m super excited to see them.
