Nari and Renjun are so cute wthhhh

I absolutely adore writing about their relationship! The first scenario I ever posted (A Little Homesick) was about the two of them and it's honestly still one of my favs.

They've been through so much together. It's so easy to see how much they've come to depend and lean on each other.

Honestly I really need to make a post about their texts because they have the most wholesome (and weird) conversations.

Whos nari. And jiho. Were they sr16g?

Nari is a fictional soloist under SM Entertainment as well as a member of NCT (under the subunits DREAM and U) and former member of I.O.I. Nari was not a member of SR16G (in real life or in the fictional world she belongs to). The idol who's face I use to represent Nari within my blog is Yeoreum from WJSN. You can find out more about Nari here.

By Jiho I'm going to assume you mean @nctsjiho. Jiho is also a fictional member of NCT (under the subunits 127 and U). As far as I know Jiho was never a part of SR16G within the authors fictional universe (however I do know that Jiho was never a member of SR16G in the real world). Jiho doesn't have a specific face claim. Please go check out this blog if you want to know more about Jiho! There are some wonderful works and an incredible writer behind the posts.

Hii ~ So, I was wondering when Nari do akmu's songs would be a feat with a male singer or would she sing the male parts too? and if it is a feat, what idol would it be?

Ooo okay this is a very good question. I didn’t really realise that I hadn’t ever addressed this anywhere so thank you for asking haha. Anyway it’s different for each song so I’ll go through each one.

(sorry in advance for the long reply) 

Time and Fallen Leaves: Of course this is the iconic SM Rookies collaboration between Mark and Nari (their friendship and love for music is actually so wholesome) 

Dinosaur: This is another memorable song as it marked Nari’s official debut with NCT U. The duo for this song are NCT members Jaehyun and Nari. 

How can I love the heartbreak: For this song although it is mostly Nari singing there is a featuring artist for Chanhyuk’s parts of the song. Funnily enough the featuring artist isn’t actually an idol, it’s her older brother. He still has credits in the song but he has never performed the song outside of the recording and there aren’t even any pictures of Nari’s family members released to the public. 

FREEDOM: Okay so originally I had thought Nari would sing this all herself but after receiving this ask and listening to the song many times on repeat I realised it would work a lot better as a collaboration. There were two main candidates for this collaboration but given that Nari is a featuring artist in Suho’s ‘For You Now’ I decided to go with EXO’s D.O. I am genuinely curious, do you (or anyone else who wants to share their opinions) think this song should have a feat. and if so who do you think would fit the song? 

Whale: This song is sung entirely by Nari. I’m not a professional vocal trainer or singer so I am not an expert in these things but my idea for Nari is that her voice tends to extend lower than an average born female vocal range, however over the many years of training and practice as an idol she has managed to extend her vocal range into higher octaves. There would still probably be changes in the actual pitch of the song but Nari sings the song in it’s entirety. 

I realise you were probably only asking for her solo songs and that I almost certainly went overboard with my answers but I just picked out all of the AKMU songs on my Nari discography playlist so that’s how this happened. Hopefully it wasn’t too painfully long and boring to read. Thank you so much for the question, I’m so glad you asked it!!!

So um, Nari existed in my mind (and on random documents of mine) for well over a year before I started this blog so idk if I'm the best person to ask for advice but I mean, it sounds like you are in the same boat I was in before I started this blog eheheheh

The best thing I can say is to just go for it. It's really easy to come up with a bunch of reasons why we shouldn't do something but overthinking about these things gets you no where and it's better to try and fail than not try at all right?

When I first made this tumblr I reminded myself that it was completely fine to post something and then delete it a few minutes later. This made me feel better about making the choice since it didn't seem as big if I always reminded myself I had that safety net.

The other thing that I think might help is reminding yourself why you want to make the blog. Keep reminding yourself of this as you go, I honestly believe that doing what you enjoy keeps you inspired and will help you to be proud of your blog. Having any type of creative outlet is far more rewarding and a whole lot less stressful that way.

Finally I would love to see you posting stuff that you have worked on and I'm sure that you will be able to make and maintain an oc blog even if it is a bit of an overwhelming concept intitally. I'm completely open if you ever want any more encouragment or advice. I hope you can hype yourself up enough to start sharing your work with others because we shouldn't let our anxieties stop us from doing things that will make us happy!
