Kamusta ka?

More often than not, when this question come across a person, an automatic answer would be, “I’m ok”, or “I’m good” or “I’m doing good”. anything that would express that they are really ok, even they are not. 

My sister asked me, “Kamusta ka teh?”, then i replied with honest thought, Ï’m not okay teh, but being made strong by God.” , then tears fell off my eyes. relief suddenly calmed my anxious mind. 

We have reasons for showing we’re okay, maybe we just don’t want to share what we are going through, or we just want to look strong before people, but sometimes being not okay is also okay, for you to be really okay.

First sight of snow

Today, snow just fall on me. :) 

Who would have thought I will feel a feeling of excitement when I see snow. :) 

Expected it coming today, I was amazed how it looked like. Just like in halo-halo. But it created a different kind of joy in my heart.

Being back in the Philippines after 9 months of being in Japan, I had a chance to dance again and worship in our church. A privilege, especially with my sister (take note, she’s a very strong dancer and I always fear her choreography yet, i love it because it pushes me to go beyond my extents).  Prayed for this moment to dance again, and so much more, finding my heart what it desires more of. 

We are, literally, in awe and wonder every after dance worship. It feels like our hearts understands each other even we don’’t speak, synced on every beat of the music.  

It’s an answered prayer for both of us, as we dance this very special Sunday, because our papa went to church (even he’ll be going alone). A life long prayer that has been answered and given to us by the Lord our God. 

A radical change not just for our father, but also for us and all we can do is worship the One who holds it all --- our Heavenly Father. 

The Lord is not deaf to our prayers. He hears our cries and sees our obedience. He does not sleep, He does not disregard. He loves you and always ready to give to you the best of what you deserve. All it takes is your faith and obedience, even as small as a mustard seed, it will created a big difference to your life and to the people around you. 

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2Peter3:9)

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews10:23)

THE ONE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL.
