The female was amused beyond belief at the current situation, her arm slung over Irene’s shoulders as she focused all of her attention on the retreating forms of three of their members: Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri who were all unfortunate enough to make a bet that if Red Velvet won on a music program for “Russian Roulette” they would celebrate their win by covering at least one room in the SM Entertainment building in silly string. “Do you really think someone will catch them, unnie? No one is scheduled to use the practice room for another thirty minutes or so…” She should have been worried about getting in trouble, their manager surely to punish them all, but Joy’s smile was bright and full of playful mischief as she retrieved her phone from the pocket of her jeans so she could check the time. “Just in case, though, I’ll rehearse our alibi.”
This devious plan of theirs could surely be likened to the concept of their new music video. Although they weren’t out to kill each other in a literal sense, Joohyun and Joy were still out to get the other members in trouble. As they stood watching the others, Joohyun was snickering to herself. “Hmm, by chance, someone could be checking the CCTV monitor by now and see the girls doing, well, that.” She laughed, though of course, she wasn’t about to let the others hear. She and Joy had planned this all along. Just a few days after their song was released, both of them had pretended to be depressed and dejected, saying that they had zero chances of winning a music show trophy. The other three, being very keen on positivity, tried cheering the two up with a bet on when they would get their first win. And since they had lost, Joohyun and Joy’s plan was about to be set into action. “I know you are good at alibis, that’s why I let you in on this plan.” She grinned teasingly.
