Instead of multiplayer, we’re gonna... get an entirely “new” game with multiplayer. Okay. All medals/avatar parts/etc. will be transferred (so be sure your data is backed up!), most likely they’ve discovered they need to build the game from the ground up in order to support multiplayer. There’s implications that there may be no unions in this new version, but we really don’t know much anything at all yet. Check out the above link or here to preregister; the more people that preregister, the better rewards we’ll be getting! If we get 50,000 people to prereg, we’ll get a guilted Roxas & Sora medal and 5000 jewels! (The full list of rewards on the link above.)

There’s no set release date, yet, though NAUX says it's "for their anniversary" in early April, so it should be soon, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be. I expect ENG Unchained to continue its operations until Cross is released, but not sure about JP Unchained (as the recent story update introduced the foundation of Cross).

Hey guys!  So, @keybaes, @meadowslittlebug and I recently started our own JPUX party. Sadly, it’s just the 3 of us in it, so I decided to promote it a little. ^^

We’re looking for people that are regularly active and that would be willing to help with raids and stuff. Our union is Unicornis.

Union Cross (JPUX)

Highlights of what to expect in NAUX due to JPUX. A few things are important to know for the next two weeks until Cross Union comes out for NAUX. If you want to stay mostly spoiler free, the main take away from this is: Don’t fuse/throw away your extra medal copies. (Whether or not you fuse this week b/c it’s guilt+ or wait for the new pseudo-skills is up to you.)

Changes

Only slightly bigger than before (JPUX went from 1.83 GB to 1.84 GB)

Guilt symbol now fades between Symbol and Tier #

Datamining has found Tier 6, Tier 7, and Tier 8 guilt symbols

+/-3 Boost cap raised to +/-7 Boost cap

Cost reduction cap (-10) lowered to -20.

Guilt available at quest 34 instead of 350

Medal draw rates are now displayed in the news

Multiplayer

Multiplayer is an “event” in which you earn Cross Coins that you can spend on boards (currently 4 boards and 1 week long in JP)

6 Players total and required: can pair up with entirely your party, entirely random people, or a mix.

Length is about twice a normal quest

Extra Pseudo-Skills to Medals (“Awakening Ability”, aka Traits)

By fusing in two of the same medal (such as to get a dot), you also get an “Awakening Ability” (no idea what these will be called in NAUX) (probably called Traits in NAUX)

These include things such as double attack (weaker the second time), status effect resistances, increased Str/Def, more SP, more HP, and all sorts of crazy game-breaking things. This psuedo-skill ALWAYS activates

Best to fuse medals in one at a time from now on; the trait you get is random, and you can choose whether or not to replace one you currently have

New eyes/expressions and skin tones. 

The old eyes and skin remain the same, so you won’t be losing anything. Only additions!

JPUX Data Backup

Facebook, Mixi, and Google backup options are going to no longer be valid starting April 2017. This just leaves Twitter and Square Bridge as backup options. Go to Menu > Other > Data backup (two phone -> at one another). Press the first link on the page that should show up (assuming your data IS backed up, there should be three links), and this should allow you to change backup accounts. [From here, same as a normal backup.] Choose Twitter or Square Bridge, enter your account. Enter your Twitter/Square information, then confirm. Enter the associated email address with that account. Check your email for verification from Square. Click the link provided to verify your account! Now, when you got check (Menu>Other>Data Backup), it should look as it did at first, with those same three links.

Hi, I'm having trouble with the Puppy no.7 medal. Apparently I have to get MVP/Host Trickmaster Level 30+ but, I haven't seen any and I'm up to 40+ now. Just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong or if the RNG will require me to be more patient with it ;_;

Just luck of the draw, I’m afraid. It starts showing up at LV30, but it’s probably got around a 10% droprate? So don’t be surprised if it takes another several LVs.
