Her cry went unheard as the Bliss barrels he had been standing beside were SHOT, immediately exploding BLISS all over him. It swiftly clouded his senses, working it’s way through his head; Alder saw glimpses of Faith dancing in the corner of his vision, her laugh lighting up the world around him. Of course, he didn’t get much time to think about it when a cultist SLAMMED his gun into his head, knocking him into the dirt.
Movements too sluggish, both from the Bliss and the hit, Alder could only stare at said gun LEVELED with him.
But no gunshot ever came.
Sarah comes crashing into the cultist, knocking the gun from his hands. The world around him blurs together slow before blinking out COMPLETELY.
When he wakes up, he’s back in the jail. Alder moves to sit up, but she’s gently pushing him back down. “So, I guess I’m a fuck up, huh??” He asks, mostly wanting to lighten up the conversation. She laughs.
