LADYBUG WITH “I can’t believe you talked me into this.”
Blake glanced up at the thick cable above her as she watched it take her weight. She gulped, wondering if it would hold her. Turning around in her harness Blake saw Ruby being attached to her zip-wire.
“I can’t believe you talked me into this,” mentioned Blake, daring not to peek over the edge.
“Relax Blake! It’ll be fun! If you want I’ll go first,” offered Ruby, smiling gently. Blake bit her lip and gave a small nod. As soon as Ruby was given the all clear the scythe wielding huntress blew a kiss at Blake.
“I’ll see you at the bottom!”
With a run Ruby leaped off the edge of the mountain and her shouts of joy echoed out for all to hear. Not wanting to be left alone or to hold up the queue Blake pushed herself off a bit more gently than Ruby’s run. The wind brushed past her, howling in both kinds of her ears, as she whizzed down the cable picking up speed. Below her the ocean churned as holidaymakers enjoyed themselves on the beach not to far away.
Her speed began to slow down as she arrived closer to the landing spot on the beach. The closer Blake got she spotted Ruby waiting for her, ready to catch her, with open arms. Blake’s feet hit the sand and she bumped into Ruby who brought her to a complete halt by wrapping her arms around her.
Blake smiled up at her. “Let’s do that again!”
