Just some brief thoughts on our world. What are some of the answers we provide for why things are bad? I think we tend to point out others and things as the problem, but I think we miss the true issue. While we succeed in pointing the finger, we fail to look in the mirror and identify with the problem. That it's not racial inequality, economic status, etc that's the main problem. But much deeper and personal. Our own heart. #JRNY #JRNYWK #VLOG
A friend had posted a status about people attacking Christianity and someone had commented that Christianity was a "greater shackle than slavery ever was." So I responded and the guy and I had a good dialogue. In this video I discuss some of the things he mentioned which was: 1) Christianity was created to control blacks and is a tool for white supremacy, 2) King James wrote and put the Bible together, 3) the Bible is a means to control, 4) slavery in the Bible and 5) Jesus being derived from Egyptian mythology. This video isn't exhaustive and doesn't go into full rebuttals. Just quick thoughts about them. I do plan on talking further about these issues on my podcast. Thanks for listening!
