C/Maj Tyler (my amazing kid) was awarded 1 of only 5 of these coins given to JROTC students for going above and beyond the call of duty. He was also the announcer at the National Awards Ceremony tonight. The ceremony was for all middle and high schools in Kansas' largest school district, Wichita USD 259.
