Yep 🙄 NOT his blanket *sigh* . . The growth we had cut off the inside of his left ear a few weeks back has returned already, only this time .. different. Our vet says the dreaded 'C' word. The only way (apparently) to know for sure is the remove Boogieman's ear and send it off fir pathology, but .. Badger turns 19 in roughly 9-10wks, his ear feels weird to him (no doubt from the weight of the slightly smaller than golfball-sized tumor, which makes him shake his head a bit more often than before like he's trying to shirk it off), but he's not necessarily uncomfortable and there doesn't appear to be any real pain. So, do we risk anesthesia to remove his ear at his advanced age? Vet says, "(although otherwise healthy for his age, if we leave his ear as-is) Badger could pass tonight from a stroke in his sleep or go on to live another 2-3 happy yrs as long as he's not in pain and we're willing to put up w/keeping his ugly ear clean/infection-free." . .
