Had lunch in the Historic District of Pelourinho Salvador, Brazil. It was so mystifying! After lunch we toured the shops of the city and viewed some really beautiful churches that were built in the 1700's. One church took 44 years to finish and another (the black church) took way longer to build and after they finally finished it the "whites" (probably the lighter skinned Brazilians) took the church from them.
