So I know I’m supposed to be shipping Brightwell here, especially with whatever the hell that last episode was, but I have found something that made me happy.
I’m not the only one who ships Dani with Ainsley. And I also ship Brightmel even though they haven’t had that many scenes together. But again, after the last episode, I think we all saw for the first time, JT’s concern for Malcolm’s wellbeing. Sure, it was a passing glance and a call of his name, but they both looked genuinely worried and scared for him.
Which also brings my next point of THESE WRITERS ARE ON SOMETHING. We all love our Bright!Whump, we do (admit it), but this was lowkey too far. I mean, any normal person wouldn’t be up and moving like he was then. One of these days, this man is going to be the death of us all when he inevitably dies for the series finale when this show ends.
