Splicing or genetic engineering, whatever they're deciding to call it now and days, caught the attention of the Team Rocket Executive. The possibilities that could be created by combining different Pokemon Genes with each other successfully. Imagine combining captured legends together to create an ultimate. Those ideas led Proton to a lab, it wasn't one he heard of nor did he really care but they studied what he wanted here. 

Without any thought he pushed through the doors waltzing right in, ignoring the secretary at the door or the people giving him stares and went directly to a table. The words on the papers about genetic splicing was confusing to him but it didn't stop him from reading but help would be nice.
