I've never been a stranger to being scared. I'm actually in a constant state of fear; fear of failure, of life, of living, of reading the next sentence. However, this quote made me think for a while Steinbeck has a major point here. Thinking about all of the interactions that people have throughout everyday life, how many people are stuck in their own thoughts? How many people are terrified of making a mistake and being judged?

Jubilant, Pretty, Properties - Kiwi
Such a jubilant family.
Yes, several years ago, maybe 20, people in this house were all joyful, and filled with love. A lovely couple with two twin boys and one baby girl. Life was simple, peace and pretty. The couple thought that they could keep going forever. Unfortunately, it was the day when the baby girl turn into 3 years old. The couple took their children to a national park for celebrating the girl's birthday. They rend a little cabin and built a campfire. All children had lots of fun and went to bed with a satisfied smile in their faces. In the middle of the night, the little girl woke up. She heard someone talking outside from the door. She left her bed, and walked toward the door. She wanted to know who's talking outside, she bended her knees and tried to peek from the gap beneath the door. She saw a pair of bare of feet with toes moving up and down.
"I want this, I want this girl, this is my property" a deep and hoarse voice kept repeating.
"This is mine, This is MINE, THIS IS MINE!"
As the voice getting louder and louder, a pair of ugly, evil eyes appeared from the gap!
