sapphire adjusted the flower display that she had prepared this morning when the bell chimed, signalling that someone entered the store. she smiled to the customer without lifting her eyes and stepped back to check out her creation. picking up a small watering can, she finished tending to the plants before walking to the counter. “hi, do you need any– UGH, it’s you.” she rolled her eyes, noticing jude among the flowers and scoffed. still, if robin’s mother ( her boss ) caught sight of her treating a customer wrongly, even if it was someone as annoying as jude, she would be reprimanded. so replacing her grimace, sapphire forced a grin. “can i help... or something?”
