Janus, I know you don't believe me, but Virgil doesn't care about you. He might act nice to you sometimes, but he is very toxic. He has stuck you in that closet how many times now? Even sticking you in there once is full-on torture. He just had Roman torture you for no reason. He doesn't care for you at all. What more can I do to prove to you that he doesn't care about you? -💖
Remus rose up into the room, “Jan, we need to go. Before Virgil gets back.” he exhaled, seeing that Janus and Roman were mostly safe. He practically ran towards Janus and Janus flinched back, hissing. His expression darkened, and he clutched at his crook, “GET OUT” he shouted, “EVERYBODY JUST LEAVE.” He swept the crook in a wide arc, creating a growling, lavender wave, that knocked the other sides down, “YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. I’M NOT GOING TO HELP YOU. AND I’M CERTAINLY NOT GOING TO LEAVE WITH YOU. I. HATE. ALL. OF. YOU.”

Remus tried to stand up, but couldn’t while holding Janus. “Hey, Jan” He coaxed softly, “We need to get up now, ok?”
Janus shook his head, “Just leave without me.”
Remus sighed, “Janus. You know I can’t do that.”
“I’m not letting go until you say you won’t take me with you,” Janus said stubbornly.
“Fine. Fine.” Remus gently pushed Janus off him, “I- I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to” He stood up, but froze when he heard Virgil’s footsteps coming down the hall.
Remus, what exactly happened between you and Virgil?
Remus sighed, “You probably know I used to date Virgil... I made some mistakes in that relationship. I regret everything and I... I don’t think I can make it up to him ever.” He adjusted his grip on Janus, who in turn tightened his hold on Remus, “I think I’m probably the reason why he’s so angry right now. That and he lost his best friend.”
Remus, maybe try to comfort Janus? If he'll let you?
Remus slowly approached Janus, and knelt down by him, gathering up the smaller side in his arms. He shushed Janus gently, and held him tight while Janus sobbed on his shoulder, “It’ll be ok Jan, I promise.”
