Swervedriver - The Hitcher
I love Swervedriver, they got overshadowed by MBV and other bands but time is making them sound better and better. Very smooth vocals over swirling + dueling guitars and songs of yearning and repeating themes bordering on obsession of desperate people driving musclecars on nihilist highways trying to escape life through constant motion.
Juggernaut Rides is an excellent compilation hitting all their high points but anybody paying $299 for a new copy like Amazon is pushing is either smoking crack or mentally deranged.
