Never go out without my hand cheetah 🐆👜
took a break from these because i was on a vacation over the weekend but im back now 😋
(as a disclaimer: i don’t really know proper music terms and i tend to repeat myself, but i’ll try to make it coherent…)
mezcal head by swervedriver:
ok this was definitely the album i’ve been searching for. the first song had me hooked since the beginning, and the second hammered it in
the feel and the sound made me really comfortable oddly enough. like it was a very familiar sound in a way i haven’t heard before, if that’s makes sense. my mom used to listen to things very similar to this when i was a kid, so it left me with a sense of nostalgia, even if i’ve never heard this specific band
the guitarist goes so incredibly hard as well. who gave him permission to be THAT good. and the guy on vocals? beautiful voice. it’s got that perfect edge that is soft in the right places, but he uses it in a harsher tone (i hope you see the vision of what i mean)
i also especially liked the 12 minute song at the end that’s my shit right there
my favorite songs from the album:
duel
blowin’ cool
MM Abduction
girl on a motorbike (HEAVY on this one it’s so fire)
you find it everywhere
never lose that feeling/never learn
