Jukebox Hero, by Foreigner, 1981
The transatlantic mismatch have a few bangers, not least Jukebox Hero, which provides surprisingly challenging chords on the bridge. I got most of them at least?
It's also quite possibly the longest I've gone without strumming.
Hullo

My name is mod Stella. I will be using the purple text. Our pronouns are It/She/Xey. We use I and We interchangeably. I enjoy listening to Metal (especially power metal), Rock, Rap, Indie, and 70s, 80s, and 90s
My name is mod Ary. I will be using orange text. He/they. I love music, listen to it near constantly. My favorites being Punk or Folk, but I listen to most stuff, though less so the high energy stuff.
No dni but we will not tolerate any sort of hate on this blog

sam nook!
its going well.
sapnap promised to stick by me, so i don't really go out without him, but i've almost got everything.
All of Foreigner's songs are about relationship stuff, except for Jukebox Hero, which is like "This kid couldn't go to a concert (sad.) So he learned how to play guitar instead (rad!)"
We all have heroes. People we look up to. People we aspire to be, who teach us how to be greater than we are because they are greater than we are. They're great if we don't look too closely. Cause if we get too close, we realise heroes are just regular people. And regular people can fail us. Our heroes aren't special. They're just people. They're like us. They're just trying to survive. They're trying to be happy. Trying to do better. Be better. Feel better. Heroes aren't more special, more courageous than the rest of us. After all, they're only human. They hurt. They break. They bleed. But sometimes, every once in a while, when it matters, they get it right. And that changes everything. A hero is only human, but that's the point. If they can do it, so can you. So, you keep going. You don't give up. You stand tall. You fight. You always show up to save the day.
Meredith Grey, Jukebox Hero
And in the end, if I don't make it on the list Would you sneak me a wristband?
They’re in lesbionics, Your Honor!
Namine and Xion in my AU, JBH! Xion is in the same band as Roxas (along with a couple other people). It’s aptly called ‘The Nobodies’ and Namine is their BIGGEST fan and shows up to all their gigs decked out in whatever low budget merchandise they managed to produce for their last show. It always, without fail, clashes with her current outfit <3
I like to think they started dating after Namine told Xion that her aura was ‘impeccable’ completely unprompted.
