Everyone say hi to Jill. No, not a gender flipped Jack, this is his sister. She's a character cooked up by @horrorgems. Essentially, what if Jack had an identical twin? Same power, just triggered a little later, so they're not a Case 70. Transitioned, and goes by Jill. They have a tense dynamic, because she ditched the Slaughterhouse and developed a moral comapass, and he... didn't.
They still genuinely care for eah other, which honestly make things more fucked up. Jack doesn't get why she won't rejoin the slaughterhouse, and Jill just... wants him to stop being so fucked up. Every once in a while, he'll visit, and it's just. A deeply awkward situation. She's basically all he has left in 'platonic human connection on an equal level', and she just want to live her life, but still misses her brother. She's nominally a hero, and is constantly on edge that Broadcast is fucking her ability to form actual human connection, which Jack is technically that one exception to that thing. It's rough for her.
On a lighter note, they're both thinker catnip. Contessa and Number Man keep side eyeing each other whenever the topic of the Slaughterhouse, and related capes comes up. One of them is going to have to call their ex to deal with it, and it's a game of chicken on who will balk first.
Also go read all of Horrorgems work now. She's a great writer. This is her idea, i just am delighted by it.
