Appearance (ex. Hair, eyes, build, skin tone): Julia has a rather thin and lithe built, making it easy for her to make her way through normally dense fields. She usually styles her shoulder-length auburn hair in a pony-tail to prevent it from getting to her face, even though her efforts are rendered useless by the fact that her fringe almost reaches her almond-shaped, gray-blue eyes. Julia is tanned from working out in the fields, yet not overly so as she spends as much as she can in the (shade of the) trees.
Personality: Julia is a rather stubborn soul; you can barely get her to change her mind about anything. She may appear to be rather bossy and a tad headstrong at times. However, she is rather nice and caring to her family and the younger ones. Julia also has a tendency to be rather ‘tsundere’ to those handsome lads in her district.
Family/Background: Julia comes from a modest family consisting of her father and her younger sister, Jennifer. She sort of fulfills the role of a mother (as she cleans, cooks and guides her younger sister) since her actual mother left her at a very young age to be with a Peacekeeper. Adding this to the fact that her father gets whipped on a monthly basis due to his being a (former) hunter only fuels Julia’s loathing to the Peacekeepers.
Strengths: Her determination is admirable, if slightly exasperating. She’s also quick-witted and alert most of the time. Common sense is also one of the things dominating her personality.
Weaknesses: She’s extremely hard-headed and most likely will not change her mind about anything. She also has a bit of an abandonment complex, due to her mother leaving. She has a bit of a soft-spot for those who she finds attractive.
Weapon of Choice: A pair of arnis sticks.
Chosen or Volunteered?: Chosen
Career?: (No.) She’d try to stay out of the Careers’ path, yet all the while keeping tabs on them.
Bloodbath?: (No.) She’d try to escape the bloodbath, but not without getting a useful item.
Alliances?: Julia would try to ally herself with the male tribute from her district, or perhaps she’d try to convince a (handsome) guy to team up with her.
Romance?: Well, Julia has a tendency to fall for the handsome, confident sort of guy, but it mostly turns out to be unrequited. [Ahaha.]
Any preference on how they should die? If not, why should they win?: After being rather drastically hit by the enemy, Julia climbs a tree [or a ferris wheel] in an attempt to escape. Then, she raises a sort of prize (be it a weapon/important thing that caused her opponents to come after her) and gives a sloppy wink to her current ‘crush’/the most attractive guy in the arena. Thereafter, she promptly falls out of the tree and subsequently snaps her neck.
Anything else?: She can’t swim and is deathly afraid of water.
