📽 Fear of Rain (2021)
I know this movie isn’t for everyone, but I really liked it. I’ve seen movies before that portray schizophrenia, but I thought that this one was maybe one of the best at it. Madison Iseman did an amazing job of portraying the terror and mistrust that comes along with mental illness, especially schizophrenia. It was very easy to imagine how it would feel not to be able to trust what you see and hear. Now, in terms of being a thriller, it was and it wasn’t. It did definitely keep me guessing, because every time I thought I had it figured out, it would make me second-guess everything. (It turns out that I had figured it out; it just made me doubt a couple times.) But it wasn’t necessary nerve wracking in any way. However, it was very entertaining and had me glued to the screen. I would say any movie that makes me not want to stop watching until everything has been resolved is a good movie in my book.
