UDC Intro, Part 2 - Baxter Family Cont'd

Gabriel (b. 1318) and Luke Baxter (1321-1348), sons of the original founder's wife, Mathilde and original founder's cousin, William, both survived to adulthood.
Gabriel, as eldest, is the legacy's heir. In 1342 he married Reina Thomassin (b. 1317), a smart and self-assured woman. It was a true love match. Thus far they've had three children: Julian (1344-1347), Gisela (b. 1346) and Theresa (b. 1348).

Luke is--well, was--the spare. In 1340 he married his wife, Sarah Radcliffe (1326-1348), bringing her to live on Baxter Farm with the rest of the family. Their union was decidedly not a love match. Rather, Luke found someone young and malleable and said "yup, that's the one I want." What a prince! Before their untimely deaths of the Black Death, they had seven children, two of whom also succumbed to the illness: Idalia (1340-1345), Matthea (stillborn in 1341), Sarwin (b. 1342), Octavia (stillborn in 1344), Vermilia (1346-1348), and twins Marcella (b. 1348) and Electa (1348-1348). With their parents' deaths, Sarwin and Marcella are now under the care of their Uncle Gabriel, Aunt Reina, and grandparents.
Baxter Farm was the first household to feel the cold hand of the Plague. Surprisingly, casualties were low--only four deaths (Luke, Sarah, Vermilia and Electa) in a 12-person household, making for a 66% survival rate. I have yet to roll for my other households and will do so after I make recaps for each of them. We shall see how the inhabitants fare!
