Hello! I love your blog so much~~ Can I request maybe ten x rose on Christmas Eve and maybe some sort of shenanigan? Thanks <3333
“You’re kidding, yeah?” Rose said, staring down the Doctor who had just skidded to a stop in the doorway with panicked look on his face.
“Mum’s going to kill us. Do we have any back on the TARDIS? It’s gonna be hell finding anywhere that’s open.”
“I just checked and I didn’t see any. We didn’t pick any up last time we did the shopping.”
Rose sighed and set down the half-wrapped package she was working on and grabbed her scarf and coat from the bed. “Let’s go, then. Maybe we can get back before Mum gets back from visiting Bev.”
“I honestly forgot that we were supposed to bring some,” the Doctor offered as they walked out of the flat. “You know I start tuning out Jackie about five minutes into the conversation.”
“Not helping, Doctor,” Rose said, rolling her eyes in fond exasperation.
“Plus,” he continued, undeterred, “you came into the room decidedly, ahem, underclothed, right when she started talking about it.”
“If we get attacked by demented Santas with deadly musical instruments again because you forgot to pick up wine on our last Tescos run, I’m still blaming it all on you,” Rose shot back.
“Fair enough,” he answered, rubbing the back of his neck.
Rose grabbed his free hand with hers and pulled him to a stop. She grinned up at him wickedly. “If I distract you from something important with what I bought as a Christmas treat for you, you can blame it on me.”
She laughed as the Doctor’s eyes glazed over and darkened as he imagined just what she had in store for him. Before he’d recovered, she was tugging him back into motion, determined to find somewhere selling wine and get back to Christmas with her mum so they could finish up and get to the Christmas celebration she had planned for their bedroom on the TARDIS.
