[Walking towards Manny's bedroom, Julien was carrying a slice of chocolate cake and a movie -- a comedy, figuring that was something the younger man would need. He knocked on the door, waiting for Manny to answer and worrying at his bottom lip.]

[Manny was laying in bed, not really feeling getting out of it, or really doing anything else besides stare at the wall. At the knock on the door, he called out in response;] It’s open, come in.

So I know I'm a bit late. [Julien laughs a little as he leans against the doorway of Manny's room.] But go check in the living room, I got you a very belated birthday present.

Just a bit. [Manny chuckles, smirking up at Julien from his bed. He arches a brow, standing up and stretching his arms above his head.] What’d you get me? It better be good, mommy. [He flashes Julien a teasing grin as he walks past him towards the living room.]

Hey Manny, happy belated Valentine’s Day.  Your gift is me…and chocolate.  I could count as both, but I did get you actual chocolate.  [Julien smirks, clearly amusing himself.]
