Liliana wasn’t sure when it had all started, the feelings she had started to have for Morgan but she’d done her best not to show them. The more time they spent together, though, made it that much harder when all she wanted was to be with him. Even from the start, the first time meeting him had changed her perspective on things. 

“He’s never gonna want you.”

The words echoed in her head, her mother’s voice loud and clear in her ears enough to send her running.

Avoiding him didn’t work though, Morgan always seeming to be right where she needed and didn’t need him the most. It really wasn’t until the first time she felt his arms around her that she knew that she was fucked. There was no more running after that.
