Ohohoho YES

So like, Adira almost shat herself when she found out she had a sister. And then she was annoyed to see that Aayes is taller than she is. Injustice, I tell you.

But yeah after Adira defeated the Voidwolf, she kept in steady contact with Aayes and would invite her just to cruise in her ship, exploring the galaxy.

Aayes was actually a bit jealous of Adira initially, because she could do whatever she wanted to. But Aayes was always forced to put on a facade so she wouldn't get herself killed. And honestly, it turned out that Xenli deciding to defect and marry Theron benefited Aayes as well. Now they have a lot more freedom than they did before. Plus Adira and Aayes both have partners who love and respect them. ❤

🎹 Do they have any special talents or skills?

Vanessa: She was a sharpshooter even before she was embraced, and now with her heightened senses and reflexes she’s on a whole other level haha.

Rob: They’re incredibly good with tech, always have been. It was always more of a hobby, but around the time they were embraced, they were seriously considering getting some kind of certification and pursuing a new career in cybersecurity

⌛ When and how were they turned?

Vanessa: Winter 1904. She’d been on a bit of a crime spree for the past few years, and had drawn enough attention that it’d gotten to the point where she was constantly on the run and was. Out of places to hide. It wasn’t that she was tired or giving up or anything, it was more of a pragmatic assessment of what her options were. She realistically couldn’t outrun the law any longer, and she knew she’d probably be hanged. And as someone who’d fought tooth and nail her entire life for her independence it just. Was not the way she wanted to go out. So she barricaded herself in a hotel room and intended to fight to the death anyone who came through the door. Except the first person who came walking in just rolled his eyes when she blasted a hole in his chest, and she never had a chance.

Rob: April 2005, just a few days after turning 27 and being laid off from their call center job. It was very sudden; Julian got the drop on them and it was over pretty quick. For all his faults, he actually did a really good job of easing them into their new life, better than any of my other vampires’ sires at least haha.

⛪ Do they practice or believe in a religion? (Kindred or mortal)

Vanessa: Nope! She’s attended services for many different religions over the years, but more out of cultural reasons and attempts to be part of the community than actual belief.

Rob: No, it’s not something they grew up with. Julian’s probably the only person they really know who’s religious, and even he’s not particularly devout.

Alright... the asks are kind of piling up in my inbox. Time to tackle them one by one over the coming days. I am somewhat braindead due to 6 hours of web meeting today... 

💡 - How does your OC enact plans? Do they plan down to the smallest details, or do the wing it?

When she had plans in the past Brianne tended to overthink them A LOT. What if this unlikely situation happened? Or someone who was most likely never to show up appeared on the scene? It drove her into some anxiety attacks.  These days she mostly wings it. Go in. Get the job done no matter what. Get out. Casualties happen. If you want no casualties you have to state that BEFORE you send her to do the job.  She can get things planned for important jobs. But the regular mercenary job. Nah... she wings it.

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts?

What do you mean... gifts?? Giving gifts would be admitting some sort of attachment and that she cares. She’s trying not to get too attached to anyone because it always ends in tears and broken things - mostly furniture.  Yes, Bri is also somewhat stingy. But that wouldn’t stop her from getting gifts. She is rather not giving them for the aforementioned reasons. 

🌅 - What is your OCs favourite time of day? Are they a morning person or a night owl?

She likes dusk actually. The days still have the warmth of the day but it’s getting darker and she can easier hide in the long shadows.  Bri is also no morning person. Don’t talk to her after waking her up... it never ends well.

e, i, m, u for eclipse?

e = experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)

eclipse was in a fairly sexually active monogamous relationship for five years before the calamity. after losing him, she hasn’t really gone out of her way to sleep with anyone. so... surprisingly inexperienced, really. there hasn’t been much variety, at least. she and her partner did quite a lot together.

i = intimacy (how are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)

eclipse is immensely intimate. she’s all about pressing up close to her partners and touching over their faces, chests, backs, whether preceding or during sex. if she can’t be skin-to-skin with someone, it isn’t as satisfying.

m = motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)

a good kiss or a whispered word of encouragement gets eclipse going quicker than anything else. also, erotica. 

u = unfair (how much they like to tease)

oh, she loves to tease. fleeting little touches or murmured promises or even a striptease -- she loves sparking interest in her partners and not give them their pleasure until they’re weak with wanting it.

1. Her most irrational fear is being put back at square one again and being utterly powerless. Reforming Zakuul will take years, plus she had to fight tooth and nail to be respected in both Empires. This is borne of her and Diaya having been born into slavery.

4. Oh yes. Iesapa rarely talks to anyone outside her inner circle anyway.

19. Xasrie considers Iesapa a worthy opponent, but also thinks she's on a high horse and is still a vessel for Vitiate(she never was). Vitiate himself considers her an useful idiot(she's far from stupid) but also a threat to him(she is).

25. Iesapa will usually isolate herself from others until she feels better. This really frustrated Jaesa and, later on, Senya. Both women felt that she was being neglectful, but Vette explained that Iesapa doesn't like to feel like she's bothering people with her problems.
