Juliana and Nemona are VERY physically affectionate, and will usually be holding hands the whole day when they're not battling constantly. Penny will sometimes stick to the side of them while they're holding and swinging hands, up until they suddenly decide they want to hold her hands too.
Penny is a bit more nervous about PDA and affection... Until she's sleepy. Once that sneepy mood hits her, she will often just start leaning into one or both of them until she passes out.
Juliana and Nemona love hyping Penny up as a bigger deal than she is. Being the only non-Champion of the relationship led to a few people knocking her, and so the duo try to ensure everyone knows how amazing and smart their GF is.
Penny and Juliana will sometimes just throw out Galarian slang and phrases that Nemona just has. No clue how to translate. She is so confused. What do they mean the other one has bells on it? What does it mean?!
Their usual position when they sit down to watch something has Nemona sitting with Penny in her lap and Juliana sprawled out across their legs.
Team Star love to give their big boss grief over dating those two. Penny will get all flustered about it, telling them that she's not that hopeless when it comes to them, only for Juliana to blow her a kiss as she goes by and Penny just melts as her friends reactions range from snickering, cooing or pretending to barf.
Nemona loves picking up her GFs. They are small and portable. They are made to be held. Juliana leans into it. Penny will start kicking and demanding to be put down.
Juliana traded Nemona a Blaziken and Penny an Altaria for their trades. Blaziken reminded her of Nemona's fighting spirit, not to mention the potential to mega evolve one day, and Altaria fit Penny's love of how fluffy and soft Eevees are. Nemona keeps training up Blaziken well and Penny's Veevees love to nap on Altaria.
Scenario: Juliana and Nemona invading Team Star (Julinemopen/EVTrainingShipping)
Penny, as Team Star's big boss, usually serves a sort of figurehead role, but one major aspect she brings to the table is as a connection to the Pokemon League and sort of serving as the gang's main form of communication in terms of being an official club and having permission from the League to be set up where they are. So attending meetings about the Star Training Centres is still important.
So imagine her surprise when, one day, she walks into the meeting and Momo and Atticus aren't there. Instead, her girlfriends, Juliana and Nemona, are just sitting there, smiling away happily and looking proud as can be.
Turns out, they took advantage of that little rule about Team Star leaders stepping down when defeated, thus making them the new leaders of Segin and Navi Squad.
Cue the shenanigans.
Of course, the first thing Penny does is call in to her fallen friends, only to find out that though they were defeated legitimately, they're taking advantage of the brief break to attend to some of their hobbies, Giacomo knowing they'll probably need to come back once it all blows up.
So, though it's entirely silly that they joined and took major positions in Team Star in the span of 24 hours, Penny proceeds with the meeting as normal... Albeit with Juliana and Nemona having way too much fun calling her "Big Boss" the whole time.
Aaand then it all goes horribly in terms of Juliana and Nemona training their respective squads.
Juliana's loose method of "Follow your passion and find your own treasure by doing EVERYTHING you want!" turns out to be horrible for everyone who's not her. Not everyone could manage doing everything they want to do all at once, let alone all the things she balanced.
And Nemona?... She has a group of Trainers she can battle over and over again, promising them real "Champion experience" in the process. It's not long before they're tapping out despite how much stronger their teams are now. She's too much.
Eventually, Penny has to step in, grabbing her GFs by the ears and having a little conversation about boundaries, and thus, the duo apologises to Team Star, who are quick to forgive them.
But even though the duo steps down from their positions, they are still technically high ranking Team Star members now. So... What now?
Well, Cassiopeia could use some... Deterrents from challenging her.
And so, with some fun, swanky outfits thanks to Atticus, Juliana and Nemona act as Cassiopeia's hands, protecting their big boss... And having further reason to hang out with their gang leader girlfriend.
