Skipper frowns. The words I told you so are hanging on the tip of his tongue. He wants to put all the blame on Julien, his- what is Julien? The fashionista is his friend, right? But Julien is so clingy, always trying to pull Skipper into his schemes. Are they more? He faces the person who got him into this mess.
He pauses. Genuine tears streak down Julien’s cheeks. And Skipper’s heart clenches. There’s no telling how they’ll get back. Julien slowly stands and starts walking, thumb outstretched.
