Marked for Death Preview

"It's her isn't it?" Rebekah said as she came to stand beside Klaus.

Klaus had never taken his eyes off of the woman. His head nodded in confirmation. "It is."

"Then why aren't you down there introducing yourself to her?" She asked. "The last time she had been reincarnated you let her go without so much as a word to her."

Klaus looked over at his sister. "And she lived a long and happy life. The first one she's had in all of the times she'd been reborn. I can't risk it."

"We will keep her safe." Rebekah tried. She knew how much Klaus had wanted to be with his soulmate. But the world was cruel in the ways that Klaus had lost her time and time again.

"Have you forgotten that it is always by yours or even our brothers' hands that she dies?" His eyes narrowed at her before returning to looking down at the street.

The woman had stopped at booth with dozens of bouquets of flowers. Klaus watched as her eyes looked over the arrangements before a small smile pulled at her lips. Klaus knew exactly what her favorite and a small smile of his own formed as he watched her grab them and pay the vendor.

"This time will be different." She said placing her hand on Klaus's shoulder. "We won't interfere, we won't even speak with her."

"The last time that happened, our brother used her to prove a point." Klaus noted, not taking his eyes off the woman.

"Kol is in a different country, he wouldn't be able to play his games." She wanted to try anything. They were all fortunate to have their soulmates in their life, except for Klaus.

"No." He shook his head. "She'll live a full life this time around just as she had previously."

July is almost here, y'all. And you know what that means... SECOND WAVE PREVIEW!!!

June has been great, and July will be just as good!! We have 8 new fics plus original artwork to look forward to as well!!! Not to mention updates from June and previous year’s fics!!! So here’s what we have to look forward to in July!!!

@thisonesatellite​ and @ohmightydevviepuu​ are teaming up to do a rewrite of all of season 5!!! The Sword and the Heart drops on July 2.

@snowbellewells​ will be dropping For Once, Don’t Let Go, a mermaid one shot on July 5. Artwork by @hollyethecurious​.

@stahlop​ is dropping Making a Memory, her fic inspired by The Parent Trap on July 7. Artwork by @gingerchangeling​.

Hollowed Trap Preview

Y/N knew she was getting worse. She could no longer hear the footsteps in the distance as the Hollow prepped things outside. The sound of cars passing on the road not too far from there could no longer be heard. Her ears could barely pick up on the tin roof flapping in the slight breeze that passed by.

The shirt and jeans she had on were soaked from the sweat that her body created. The need to cure itself of the poison running through her body proved pointless the weaker she had become. Her body no longer attempted to heal itself from the stake in her back. Even simply raising her hand had caused more pain and took a lot of energy out of her than it had hours ago. Proof that the poison had almost circulated completely.

She barely noticed when the acolytes had come into the house to keep an eye on her. No remarks came out of her mouth. It is too dry to even attempt a single word. All her mind could think of was two things in particular. A fantasy of Elijah rescuing her and the sweet call death had been making for centuries that she actively avoided.

The fantasy had given her hope. It made her want to fight and hang on until Elijah was there, pulling her into his arms after removing the stake from her back. She’d be weak, but safe. Safe enough for Freya to find a cure for the poison that ran through her veins. She could hold off long enough to hear every promise that Elijah would make as she began to recover. And then, the two of them would stand with his siblings and take down the Hollow once and for all.

The sweet call of death had twisted her fantasy a time or two. Her mind conjured the ways she’d die. How easy it would be to end things if she just rolled over as hard as she could and pushed the stake through her. How that would be less painful now that she had grown weaker. Or her mind would play out her fantasy of being saved right before death would sweep in without her being able to say goodbye to Elijah. It even conjured how the Hollow would do just as intended. She’d be sacrificed, the pain would be unimaginable and she’d be tossed aside. Left there for her family to find her after they realized they failed.

But out of all of the things her mind could conjure in it’s weakened state, this one was the most realistic. Her mind started it out with Freya and Elijah walking into the room. She watched as Elijah snapped one of the acolyte's neck before feeling the thud of the body hitting the floor. The voices and the growling she now heard were muffled in her ears.

All she knew was Elijah was there and walking towards her before he reached the circle she was bound to. Even in her weakened state, she lifted her hand to reach out for him. The cry of pain leaving her lips causing him to shake his head slightly before he spoke. Through the muffled mess, her brain only picked up on one sentence.

I promise I'll get you out of here.

Change of Fate Preview

"Remind me again why I'm here?" She asked with a small smirk pulling at her lips. When Klaus said nothing, the smirk grew. "Right, I'm here because you've asked me to come and help out with your baby mama drama."

A scoff passed Klaus's lips as he looked over at her. "I do believe you came here to help me. I don't ever recall asking you to fall in love with a wolf while you are here. You've made things quite complicated now."

That made Y/N bite down on the inside of her cheek. He wasn't wrong in the slightest. She never thought that coming here she'd somehow mingle with the crescents, let alone fall for their Alpha.

While she had never intended for it to happen, things had changed the more time she spent with Jackson. And the more time she spent with Jackson, the more she felt welcomed by him and the pack. Sure she was a tribrid and most, if not all of the pack was scared of what she could do. But Jackson had showed her and them, that she was more like them than anything else.

"Wouldn't this be considered a win for you?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. She watched as Klaus raised a brow before she continued. "You get the wolves on your side either way, right? You wouldn't even have to deal with your brother brooding on a daily basis since Hayley would be able to be with him."

Y/N was rambling at this point. She was trying to make everything else make sense. How this all would benefit the Mikaelsons than anyone else. That was why she was called to New Orleans in the first place. Klaus Trusted her to help and she was helping.

But why was it that once the words had left her mouth, she felt as though worry and guilt had weighed her down? That as much as she loved and cared for the Mikaelsons, there was a new found love that had her scared in ways that she couldn't believe herself.

Klaus could see the wheels turning even after she stopped speaking. He walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders, causing her to look up at him. He could see it in her eyes that she was struggling with this.

"That can only work if he returns those feelings for you, love." He knew his words wouldn't make things any better in the moment. But she needed to hear them. He wasn't angry with her for wanting to be with Jackson. He wasn't angry that she was spending more time out in the bayou recently. But he knew how things were between Jackson and Hayley at the moment. "I have seen you as many things, Y/N. I've seen the fire in your eyes when you are determined to have something. I've seen the kindness you've shown my family when you didn't need to. But this look," he said as he looked into her eyes. "this fear that you have wont go away until you make it known to him. Otherwise, come next week, it will be you and my brother standing off on the sidelines watching as the people you love get married."

Betrayal Preview

"Y/N/N." He said as he reached to grab her hand. Anything to keep her from leaving at that second. He needed her to understand.

"No." She said as she pulled her hand away from him. Her eyes met his as she turned to face him. “You don’t get to try and make this right anymore.”

“I’m trying to see things your way.” His voice raised slightly that anyone outside of the room had been able to pick up on his words. He hadn’t been yelling, he just needed to get through to her.

“Every time I explain my side of things, you find a way to twist it to use it against me and them.” She shook her head before her shoulders shrugged.

“That’s not what I’m doing here.” He said as he took a step closer to her.

Y/N scoffed. “Then why is my name on the list, Tony?” She asked, taking in his expressions. “Why is it listed right under Sam and Wanda’s name for the transfer to the Raft?!”

She watched as he looked at anywhere but her. She watched as his jaw had ticked for a moment before it relaxed. But no matter what he had been doing, she didn’t miss the way his eyes hadn’t changed. There was no guilt, nothing indicating that she was wrong.

Tony said nothing. He knew that she wasn’t even close to being done talking. Just as many times he needed to get things off his chest, he knew she needed to get it off of hers more. His eyes came back to her face as she watched the frustration-induced tears form in her eyes.

“You used me. You used me in a way that I never thought would be possible. I confided in you. I trusted you in ways that I have never trusted anyone else before. You were the one person I believed would never turn their back on me. And you used me. You used me and made me an accomplice. So my question is why am I not sitting in a cell with them? Or does being your informant grant me immunity? Because if it does, I don’t want it.”

Hello everyone! Can you believe it? We are a month into the 2019 CSSNS!!!

We have been blessed with some INCREDIBLE fic already this summer and we have much more to come. This post will first highlight the fic and art that’s been posted so far, and then we’ll look forward to what is to come in the month of July! So without further ado everyone, heeeeeerrrrrrrrrre we goooooooooooo!!!!!

@welllpthisishappening opened us up this year with her short MC, All the Subliminal Things, a soulmate fake dating AU. Adorable and hysterical, as usual!! Artwork by @resident-of-storybrooke. She also closed out the month yesterday with the posting of her MC All was Golden In the Sky. I’m telling you the truth, that I’m already thinking this one may dethrone Blue Line as my favorite of Laura’s work. Again with artwork by @resident-of-storybrooke. She will be updating AWGITS on Tuesdays and Fridays for the next three months. Make sure and let her know how much you love it, because I’m sure you will!

@darkcolinodonorgasm posted One Day, a LadyHawke AU that I am BESIDE myself waiting for more of! With artwork by @sherlockianwhovian. Towards the end of the month, she posted Hidden Paths Between the Moon and Sun, the sequel to her Hades and Persephone AU, Until the Stars Are All Alight. Loads of fluff so far and a very delayed honeymoon for our favorite couple. Again with artwork by @sherlockianwhovian. Be sure to give them both lots of love for their hard work and wonderful results!!

@allons-y-to-hogwarts-713 posted original art Killian Falls for Siren Emma and Paranormal Photographers/Reporters. They were both absolutely fantastic!! Be sure and let her know!

@donteattheappleshook posted her sequel to last years fic Just Human. She named it, very aptly, Just Human Vol2. It picked up right where last years fic left off and is LOADED with feels! Artwork 1 and 2 by @djlbg. Be sure and give them both lots of love!!!

@thislassishooked posted her vampire AU MC Wake Me Up Inside. We have three chapters posted so far and it is INCREDIBLE!!! Artwork by @tennant-the-tigger. Make sure and give them both all the love!!

@let-it-raines posted her MC Not Your (Soul)Mate. This is a very humorous take on the whole soulmate trope. Artwork by @captainsjedi. Make sure and give them plenty of flails!!!

@shireness-says posted her oneshot A Drowning Soul Will Clutch at Any Straw. A beautiful fic featuring mermaid Emma and pirate Killian, with a TLK to boot! Artwork by @hollyethecurious. Be sure to give them all kinds of love!!!!

@thejollyroger-writer will be posting Love After Death on July 3, an afterlife hotel/soulmates AU in which Emma runs the afterlife hotel that ghost Killian makes his way to. She will close out the month with a second OS on the 31st called What Happens in Berkshire where a statue of Captain Hook comes to life when Emma gives him a kiss! Artwork by @captainsjedi. She will be giving us another OS in August as well.

On July 10, @gingerchangeling will be posting Luck of the Irish. A OS where Emma comes home with more than she bargained for after reading an ancient curse. Artwork by @resident-of-storybrooke. 

@lizzyc807shipscaptainswan will be posting a guardian angel vampire OS on July 12. Killian is a vampire that turns into a guardian angel of sorts when investigative reporter Emma just keeps getting herself into trouble. Artwork by @courtorderedcake.

@jarienn972 will be posting A Simple Spell on July 15. In which novice witch Emma casts a spell to find her True Love. Artwork by @cocohook38.

On July 17, @profdanglaisstuff will be posting her fic, The Very Witching Time. Emma is a witch that has to defeat a new danger rising that threatens her and everything she loves. She’ll need the support and help of her friends and a dog named Killian if she is to succeed. Artwork by @gingerchangeling.

July 19 @searchingwardrobes will be posting An Education in Southern Gothic, a ghost/possession fic. Based on a legend at a school she used to teach at. She will be posting a second fic based on the Cupid and Psyche myth in August. Artwork by @hollyethecurious.

@spartanguard will be posting a soulmate AU called Sick of Love on July 22. Will the barriers that CS put up to avoid touching their possible soulmate protect them? Or only hurt them more? Artwork by @sherlockianwhovian.

On July 24 @snidgetsafan will be posting a Hades, Persephone, and Orpheus OS called Whom the Gods Favor, Die Young. Artwork by @tennant-the-tigger.
