Creamy Dill Chicken with Roasted Potatoes and Green Beans

Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo
Alfredo is easily one of my favorite dishes. It incorporates pasta, protein and veggies all in a creamy and delicious sauce. It’s no secret that I adore Italian food and love to make American-ized versions of various dishes from around the world. This recipe came to me just as I was cooking it.
I wasn’t trying to be fancy, but I did have a taste for some alfredo. We had chicken breasts, colored peppers, onions and everything else needed already in the kitchen. I had made this dish once before for my grandfather (RIP Grandad) and her enjoyed it so much that he ate the whole pan and I had to make some more the next day. Nothing in this recipe is from a can, I made it all from scratch, which just means I made the alfredo sauce. I’m pretty proud of myself because, in no way, am I a chef (I can whip up some pretty amazing things in the kitchen, though).
I’m not really exactly sure what other information you’d want to read about this dish besides the recipe, so here it is.
**as I’m just starting out and taking cooking more serious, measurements are NOT included in this recipe. I cook from the spirit, in the words of Tabitha Brown.
***These recipes is not for first-time cooks or for those who aren’t good in the kitchen (you know who you are)

fettuccine pasta
boil noodles until al dente (you can boil them while you’re sautéing the veggies so everything can finish around the same time.
various seasonings you would like to use
DISCLAIMER: only adding salt and pepper is NOT seasoning your food.
After your sauce is done, add your noodles and give them a good stir, coating them in the sauce. Afterwards, you can add the veggies and chicken and shrimp. Mix all of that together and WAHLAH!
Garlic Butter Pan-Seared New York Strip Steak. Garlic Butter Fresh String Beans. Garlic Butter and Herb Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and Garlic Bread
What youll need:
New york steak strip
Fresh string beans
Boxed mashed potatoes
Onions
Frash garlic
Parsley
Rosemary
Thyme
Beef broth
Butter and margarine
Other seasonings youd like
To prepare the steak:
Youll need a LOT of butter. Make sure its soft so you can mix it.
Mince your garlic and combine it with the butter, margarine, and seasonings until everything is distributed evenly.
Lather the steak with the butter on all sides. The steak should be coated in the butter.
In a cast iron pan, lay the steak down and let it form a crust. Smash a whole clove of garlic and throw that in the pan with the steak.
After about 3-4 minutes, or until you develop a golden color, flip your steak. You will repeat flipping every few minutes until your steak is done to your liking. Dont forget to baste your steak after everyflip to keep it moist and flavorful.
When done, pull the steak off the stove and set it to the side to rest.
To make the string beans:
Trim the string beans and rinse with water.
In a skillet, add some of your butter mixture and coat the bottom of the pan.
When hot, toss in the string beans.
Slice some onions and add them in as well.
Sautee veggies until done to the texture of your preference and dont forget a bit of seasoning
To make the potatoes:
Follow directions on box of potatoes
Just before the potatoes set completely, add in your seasonings and butter
To make the gravy:
Drain the fat from the juices left over from cooking the steak. Return the droppings to the skillet
Add slices onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sautee for a few seconds
Add in a cup of flour and burn it
When to the desired color, add in some hot water and beef broth
Continue to stir until gravy thickens
